Ten Deus

Prologue 

             In a time unknown to all races, there was one who created the universe, but they felt that they had nothing else left to create. As a result, they split in two the light goddess known as hatk and the god of darkness loch. Hatk is the goddess of life, and the Sun her energy permeated the world in the day. While her brother Loch was the god of rest and the Moon his power embraced those at night, with their power they created the world of Erdgiart. 

             Our world saw the first races to be born, the Dragons of the goddess and humans of the god followed by the fair folk and the shifters. All were loved and watched over in a balance of light and darkness. The sun provided growth and energy, and the moon gave time for rest. One day, the god had found some of his children dead. The only one who could have done such a thing was his sister Hatk, and he blamed her for their passing. Loch then began a war, using his children to try to hurt the goddess and take control of the world. Seeing no other option, the goddess asked for a member from the current leaders of all races, their strongest, and bestowed upon them gifts. They were the Ten Deus, these Deus fought against the forces of darkness that stole time. They fought for ten nights and nine days until two of the Deus’ dragons sealed away Loch and were given a burden forever inflicted upon them by the god.

           “What’s that mama?” Young Arati asks

Arati’s mother smiles softly 

            "Something you must learn for yourself in the future, Kaida”(young dragon)
